Logitech launches its all-in-one docking station with meeting controls and speaker, the Logi Dock.
A lot of companies or businesses have transitioned into a remote setup because of this pandemic. Therefore, Logitech created a device that will help employees to level up their ‘Work From Home’ setups.
We know that most of us have unorganized and messy office setups right now, and honestly, it makes us unproductive. Having a nice and clean home office setup will help you feel more productive.
This week, Logitech announced the Logi Dock which is an all-in-one docking station with meeting controls and speakerphone. This new device simplifies your home office setup since it will reduce desktop clutter.
The new Logi Dock allows you to connect everything such as USB cables into one device. To be specific, it allows you to connect and charge up to five USB peripherals and two monitors. With this device, you will not need extra peripherals, and it will also eliminate a tangle of cables and wires. In addition, it also has dedicated Bluetooth so you can connect your wireless keyboard and mouse.
Moreover, it can improve your video conferencing experience because you can instantly join any meeting with a single press. It also has dedicated mute controls and a video on/off button for much easier accessibility. Besides, the company targets certification for Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Good Voice, and Zoom.
Logi Dock will also interact with your calendar using Logitech’s Logi Tune program. This software enables you to experience a one-touch-to-join meeting feature as well as to do customization.
In case you don’t have any microphones, this device has built-in speakerphones that have six beamforming microphones. These microphones, according to Logitech, can catch your speech clearly while simultaneously suppressing undesirable background noise. You can also switch the audio seamlessly to your Zone True Wireless earbuds if you have one.
For device compatibility, you can connect your Mac, PC, or Chromebook, as well as iOS or Android Bluetooth-enabled devices to this docking station.
Further, this device only has 84.8 x 160 x 131.5 mm dimensions and only weighs 0.942 kg. For the color choices, White and Graphite are only the available colorways. We look forward to additional color options to surely fit our work-from-home office setup.
Price and availability
Logitech’s new Logi Dock has a price of USD399 (around PHP 19.9k) but it is not available yet as of writing. However, Logitech mentioned that this device will be available in Winter 2021 or this December. Just stay tuned for more update!
