OnePlus has launched its most powerful smartphone, the latest OnePlus 10T with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
OnePlus 10T: Evolve Beyond Speed
After the postponement of the launch of the OnePlus Ace Pro in China, the company launched the global variant of this phone in New York City. This new OnePlus 10T comes with powerful specs and is expected to beat the OnePlus 10 Pro. Let’s see what it brings.
Inside this phone is the latest 4nm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which is the most powerful chipset to date. This chipset comes with 10% higher CPU and GPU performance, as well as 4x faster AI speed. OnePlus paired it with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. However, India will only get up to 12GB RAM with a 256GB configuration.
This device
also boasts a large 4,800mAh battery capacity that supports up to 150W of
SUPERVOOC charging technology. They claimed to give you a day of usage with
just 10 minutes of charging. OnePlus also introduced the Battery Health Engine,
which should reduce the degradation of the cell over time. Besides, the
included charger is the Endurance Edition which also doubles the battery
lifespan from 800 to 1,600 cycles.
In addition, OnePlus also mentioned that it comes with a new OnePlus Cryo-velocity Vapor Cooling System. This comes with the largest vapor chamber on any of their devices and is claimed to give 50% higher heat dissipation.
While the exterior, it highlights a 20.1:9 aspect ratio 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. This screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, sRGB, DCI-P3 color gamut, 10-bit Color Depth, and HDR10+. It also has an In-display fingerprint scanner and a 16MP selfie camera on its top-center punch-hole.
At the back, you will see the luxurious futuristic design that comes with Moonstone Black and Jade Green colorway. It also has a modern-looking camera island that has 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera. Along with it are the 8MP ultra-wide lens and the 2MP macro lens.
It also includes the HyperBoost Gameplay Engine with GPA Frame Stabilizer and GPU Load Control (GLC) for smoother gaming. This phone also has AI System Booster 2.1 for real-time system optimizations and power monitoring.
This new OnePlus 10T runs OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box. Additionally, it is included in the official list of OnePlus devices getting the new OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13.
