Recently, we shared our camera review of the OPPO Reno15 F 5G. Its camera is indeed great for content creators who are looking for a versatile shooting experience.

But how about its other features? Can it handle our daily tasks and games? How is the battery performance? We have been using it since January 2026, and we noticed several strong features along with a few areas that still need improvement. That is why we are sharing our full review of this phone.

By the way, if you want to see our dedicated camera review of this device, just click here.

    OPPO Reno15 F 5G Gaming

    Performance and Gaming

In terms of performance, the OPPO Reno15 F 5G is good enough for casual use. For me, its 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 octa-core chipset feels a bit underwhelming for its price, but what matters is that it still delivers enough power, especially for editing videos, photos, and even light gaming.

The chipset is capable and can run most of the apps we use, although it is not as fast compared to other devices, especially other variants in the Reno15 Series.

We also tried playing games on this phone and experienced occasional frame drops, particularly when playing Genshin Impact. It runs smoothly on Mobile Legends and Call of Duty Mobile. However, even during light gaming, the device tends to get warm.

Despite not having the most powerful chipset, multitasking remains smooth. ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 feels well-optimized. It is not the lightest interface, but you can clearly feel the responsiveness of the device thanks to its software optimization.

    Battery and Charging

When it comes to battery, the OPPO Reno15 F 5G delivers long-lasting performance. It has been my main Android phone for a while, and it can easily last a full day on a single charge.

That said, I expected more from its 7,000mAh battery capacity in terms of longevity, although the software could be a contributing factor. Charging is fast thanks to its 80W SUPERVOOC support, and it can fully charge the device in about an hour.

    OPPO Reno15 F 5G Display

    Display and Multimedia Experience

When it comes to the display, I am quite satisfied even though it only has an FHD+ resolution. The quality is still high, and watching content is enjoyable due to its vibrant visuals, thanks to the AMOLED panel.

The 6.57-inch size feels just right for me. It is easier to hold and not difficult to fit in the pocket. I consider it compact compared to many smartphones today that come with larger screens.

It also supports a stable 120Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and browsing more responsive. As for brightness, I find the maximum of 1,400 nits a bit lacking for its price. It is still visible outdoors, but it can be challenging under bright sunlight. It would have been better if it reached at least 3,000 nits for improved visibility.

The stereo speakers sound decent as well. They are good enough for watching videos or listening to music. They do not sound cheap, and the balance between bass, mids, and treble is fairly good.

    Verdict

Our experience with the OPPO Reno15 F 5G has been great overall, and it does not fall short when handling daily tasks. The features are solid, especially the camera.

However, there are still areas that need improvement, particularly the chipset and display brightness, considering that it is priced above PHP 20,000. Still, if you are an aspiring content creator, this can be a good starting camera device for your journey.
