With the expectation of launching their newest smartphone series, TECNO has released a teaser clip of one of the smartphones to be launched soon, hinting at a bold new design.
While TECNO has not officially announced anything about the upcoming launch, or the series’ name, technology enthusiasts have been claiming that it could be the TECNO POVA 7 Series.
On the outer space-themed teaser clip posted by POVA Mobile India on X, TECNO’s future smartphone will feature a broken triangular-shaped LED around a triangular camera setup at the upper left corner. In the past, the TECNO POVA 6 Pro also included LED backlights, but they were arranged in a Y-shaped arrangement.
It is unsure if the outer space clips are hinting at other features, but the X post included a caption saying “Discover a POVA, that shines afar.”.
There have been no clues yet regarding the name and features of the teased smartphone. But to recall, just last March 2024, the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G and the Pova 6 Neo 5G were introduced in India, respectively. While the Neo version’s base 6GB + 128GB option debuted at Rs. 13,999, the Pro version’s 8GB + 256GB variation started at Rs. 19,999.

The TECNO POVA 6 Pro 5G was equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC and a 6000mAh battery capacity while the TECNO POVA 6 Neo 5G had the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC with a 5000mAh batter capacity. In addition, both versions featured a 108MP main camera.
The teaser for the next-generation TECNO smartphone lineup contained very few details but major upgrades and improvements are something to look forward to.
