The TECNO POVA 6 Neo was advertised on the brand’s website in April of last year. It is now officially available in the Philippines.

The TECNO POVA 6 Neo also has a lot of similarities to the POVA 6, as much as the POVA 6 is comparable to the POVA 6 Pro. This model has the same MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate CPU, a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and dual speakers.
The POVA 6 Neo shares the same metallic mecha design on the rear as its more expensive sibling. The flashing game light at the rear was eliminated by TECNO, which makes a difference.
An IPS panel was used in place of the AMOLED screen. Additionally, the front-facing camera has been downsized to an 8-megapixel sensor from a 32-megapixel one, while the primary camera’s sensor has been reduced from 108-megapixels to 50-megapixels. Its 6.78-inch IPS front-facing LCD has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of FHD+ 2436 x 1080.
Its internal components include a 2.2GHz 6nm Helio G99 Ultimate octa-core processor, a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of storage, and a 7,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly with a 33W fast charger.
Because of their more than 1600 charging cycles, TECNO says that these batteries have an 80 percent survival rate for up to six years. Additionally, they enable the Bypass Charge technology, allowing users to continue playing games while the device is charged. In addition, the POVA 6 Neo features a circular LED flash, an AI depth shooter, and a 50MP primary camera. It features a dual LED flash and an 8MP camera for selfies. The side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4D vibration, 27342mm2 cooling area, IP53 certification, 3.5mm port, and stereo speakers are more features than the ones already mentioned.
Multi 4G VoLTE, WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and multi-SIM compatibility are all included in their connection features. Last but not least, the phones’ operating system is Android 14 with the HiOS 14 overlay.
