Recently, we featured the latest affordable Xiaomi Note 9T and OnePlus Nord N10 midrange devices that are 5G capable. Now, Vivo announced its new entry-level 5G capable smartphone in the Chinese market with the product name Vivo Y31s. The Vivo Y31s has a similar design to the Vivo Y52s, but have lower specifications.
This device features the new affordable Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 octa-core chipset which has decent performance and supports 5G connectivity. The chipset is paired with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB 2.1 flash storage. Also, the phone equips a massive 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. And Vivo Y31s runs with FuntouchOS 10.5 that is already based on the latest Android 11.
It also features a 6.58” FHD+ screen resolution with a 90Hz screen refresh rate, and a waterdrop notch with an 8MP selfie camera. Moreover, Y31s only has a dual-camera setup with a 13MP main shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. Which looks like the Vivo V20 Pro because of the square camera island and pyramid-aligned.
The remaining highlights of this smartphone are the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 90.61 percent screen-to-body ratio. However, this model has 3 different color variants, Ruby Red, Titanium Empty Grey, and Monet.
