Early this year, Xiaomi unveiled its new Redmi Note 9T which is their affordable 5G smartphone. Alongside, they also announced the Redmi 9T, their new budget smartphone that almost features the same as the POCO M3. And this January 27, 2021, Xiaomi conducted a launch event of the Redmi 9T via Facebook live stream here in the Philippines.
Alike POCO M3, this phone also features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor with Adreno 610 graphics. It also has a 6.53-inch FHD IPS LCD protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certifications. Redmi 9T also boasts a 6000mAh massive battery that supports 18W fast charging and 2.5W reverse charging.
For multitasking capabilities, it is already possessed with 4GB or 6GB RAM that allows you to run or switch applications smoothly. Also, storage is truly becoming bigger these years because this affordable phone has up to 128GB of storage.
Redmi 9T features a quad camera setup that has a 48MP main shooter, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro lens. Moreover, decent selfie images can produce by its 8MP front camera. However, the rear and front camera can only shoot up to 1080p 30fps video.
Other best features of this phone are IR Blaster remote control, Hi-Res audio, Bluetooth 5.0, Fingerprint sensor, and Splash-proof nano-coating.
