Another affordable smartwatch joins the competition. As we know, Xiaomi’s Mi Band smartwatches are bang-for-the-buck but offer great and helpful health and fitness features. Last night, Xiaomi introduced its latest Mi Smart Band 6 in their Xiaomi 2021 New Product Launch event. This latest Mi Band has a lot of upgrades than its predecessor, Mi Band 5.
Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 now features a1.56-inch full-screen AMOLED display with 326 PPI, almost 50% larger than its predecessor. This display is a 152 x 486 resolution panel that can reach up to 450 nits of brightness. Also, it will come with tempered glass with an anti-fingerprint coating. Besides, you can also choose from more than 130 designs for its face display.
Moreover, it features a silicone strap that comes with different color options including Orange, Yellow, Black, Olive, Ivory, and Blue. You can adjust these straps between 155-219mm to firmly fit on your wrist. Besides, the actual device dimension measures 47.4mm x 18.6mm x 12.7mm.
What’s more impressive that it’s up to 14 days of battery life. Also, up to 19 days if you activated its long battery mode.
Furthermore, it has a PPG heart rate sensor, a SpO2 sensor, a 3-axis accelerometer, and a 3-axis gyroscope sensor. It also offers 30 fitness modes and auto-detect activities such as running, walking, treadmill, cycling, rowing, and elliptical. Besides, it also features sleep tracking, stress monitoring, female health tracking, and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring.
Lastly, this Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 has an NFC variant, which is useful for making payments.
