This audio equipment, according to Bose, provides the “greatest noise cancellation” in the entire globe. Additionally, the company claimed that its CustomTune technology intelligently adapts for the greatest sound quality based on the user’s hearing.
Following the highly popular (and 5-star) Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, which were introduced back in 2020, came the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II. And the new pair’s design has undergone a significant overhaul.
They resemble the first generation of QC earphones in size by about a third. and that they were more comfortable than their larger competitors. It has two settings, including an attentive mode with ActiveSense technology so users can hear their surroundings and a quiet mode for the ANC.

The new “stability bands” (which replace the old rubber wings) provide lots of traction without getting uncomfortable during extended listening sessions. The new ear tips are also incredibly soft and flexible and don’t dig in like other competitors. The ear tips and wings of the original Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II were all made of one piece and required a little more fiddling to get into position.
The new Bose QuietComfort Earbuds are not just smaller than the originals, but they also have a more distinctive stem that houses touch controls. You will hear a brief, sweeping tone every time you remove the earphones from their casing and insert them into your ear. This is a test tone for Bose’s CustomTune sound calibration technology, not merely a confirmation that they are powered on. Each earbud has a mic that records the acoustic response of your ear canal when sound is produced. As the headphones track your surroundings, the audio and ANC performances are adjusted accordingly and are continuously modified in the background.
Bose states that the battery of the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds can last up to six hours before needing three further charges from the charging case for a total of 24 hours of use. The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II can be fully charged in one hour, and a 20-minute charge provides almost two hours of gameplay. The Bose earphones include Bluetooth 5.3 functionality and an IPX4 rating for water and perspiration resistance, and the case charges via USB.
The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds have four microphones that can record crystal-clear voice calls are now available, and they each include a complimentary set of eartips and bands so you can personalize them however you choose. Additionally, it only supports SBC and AAC codecs and features Bluetooth 5.3 with a range of up to 30 feet. Also, the audio wearable can immediately switch between up to seven devices without reconnecting, according to its creators. To do this, merely press the side-mounted button.
They detect, measure, and communicate undesired noise to a patented electronic chip programmed with an “exclusive algorithm,” which produces a signal to cancel out the noise in “less than a fraction of a millisecond.” There are four microphones in each earbud—one on the inside and three on the outside.
The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds cancels out all background noise, including the loud conversations taking place at the table next to us and the loud music playing from the ceiling speakers. The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II might be worth a spot in your carry-on luggage if you’re a regular flyer who doesn’t want to bring big, cumbersome over-ears with her but wants outstanding noise-cancellation.
The Bose’s “Aware” listening mode really impresses too. It’s automatically one of your shortcuts, which can be accessed by pressing and holding one of the stems. The setting allows you to hear your music and surroundings simultaneously—think of it as a transparency mode that other noise-cancelling headphones also offer. For the QC Earbuds II, it includes what Bose calls its ActiveSense technology, which can automatically adjust the amount of ANC so your music isn’t drowned out by particularly loud noises.
If you like comfortable, peaceful listening to music, the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II is the perfect choice for you. Good news for everyone: it is now available for pre-order on the brand’s Philippine website. The price of Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II can range up to PHP 19,500 (a PHP 16,575 pre-order price).
