Huawei launches four Mate 50 series phones after almost 2 years

Nearly two years after the Mate 40’s release in late 2020, Huawei has surprisingly revealed four shocking high-end smartphones under the Mate 50 series.
An overwhelming 4G version of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with EMUI 13 powers the three of their newest released phones. These are the Huawei Mate 50, Huawei Mate 50 Pro, and Huawei Mate 50 RS. While the Huawei Mate 50E comes with 4G version of Snapdragon 778 SoC with Harmony OS 3.0. All four have 66W wired charging, 50W wireless charging capabilities, and IP68 rating.
This first part of Huawei Mate 50 series comes with 6.7-inch OLED Display, 8GB RAM, 256GB Storage, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 4G SoC, Adreno 730 GPU, EMUI 13, and IP68 dust and water resistance.
It has Triple-rear XMAGE Cameras: 50MP F1.4-F4.0 main, 13MP F2.2 ultra-wide, and 12MP F3.4 telephoto, OIS, as well as a 13MP F2.4 ultra-wide front camera.
It contains NM Card Support, Dual-Sim slot (4G LTE), Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, NavIC, IR blaster, Fingerprint scanner, USB 3.1 Type-C, and 4,460mAh battery w/ 66W fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging as well.
The Huawei Mate 50 weighs 206 g and is available in Black and Silver.
The Huawei Mate 50 Pro comes with 6.74-inch OLED Display, and 256GB or 512GB Storage. But like Huawei Mate 50, it also has Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 4G SoC, Adreno 730 GPU, EMUI 13, 8GB RAM, and IP68 dust & water resistance.
For its camera, it has Triple-rear XMAGE Cameras: 50MP F1.4-F4.0 main, 13MP F2.2 ultra-wide, and 64MP F3.5 telephoto, OIS. It has 13MP F2.4 ultra-wide front camera + 3D Depth Sensing. Huawei Mate 50 Pro has obviously upgraded camera, as well as display and storage.
It contains NM Card Support, Dual-Sim slot (4G LTE), Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, NavIC, IR blaster, Fingerprint scanner, and has USB 3.1 Type-C. It has 4,700mAh battery w/ 66W fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging and a 3D face recognition.
The Huawei Mate 50 Pro weighs 209 g (Glass) and 205 g (Vegan Leather) and is available in Black, Silver, and Orange.
This third part of the series also comes with 6.74-inch OLED Display like the Mate 50 Pro, but with a whopping 12GB RAM with 512GB Storage. While it has Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 4G SoC, Adreno 730 GPU, EMUI 13, and IP68 dust and water resistance like the first two.
It also has Triple-rear XMAGE Cameras: 50MP F1.4-F4.0 main, 13MP F2.2 ultra-wide, and 48MP F3.0 Super TeleMacro, OIS, as well as a 13MP F2.4 ultra-wide front camera + 3D Depth Sensing. A much upgraded version.
It contains NM Card Support, Dual-Sim slot (4G LTE), Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, NavIC, IR blaster, Fingerprint scanner, and has USB 3.1 Type-C. It has 4,700mAh battery w/ 66W fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging and a 3D face recognition.
The Huawei Mate 50 RS weighs 232 g and is available in Ink Blue and Purple.
The last part of the series is a more budget-friendly phone in the series. It comes with 6.7-inch OLED Display, 8GB RAM, 128GB or 256GB Storage, and IP68 dust and water resistance. Unlike the first three, Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 4G SoC, Adreno 642L GPU, and Harmony OS 3.0 powers the Mate 50E.
It has Dual-rear XMAGE Cameras: 50MP F1.4-F4.0 main, and 13MP F2.2 ultra-wide, as well as a 13MP F2.4 ultra-wide front camera.
It contains NM Card Support, Dual-Sim slot (4G LTE), Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, NavIC, IR blaster, Fingerprint scanner, USB 3.1 Type-C just like the rest. It has 4,460mAh battery w/ 66W fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging as well.
The Huawei Mate 50E weighs 201 g and is available in Obsidian Black, Frost Silver, and Streamer Purple.
